Flaxseed for Lung Cancer Patient

Please let me know any information on how to get raw virgin linseed oil or flaxseed oil? Also any information you can send on other herbs for active lung cancer.

Linseed (flaxseed) oil is available in the refrigerated section of many health food stores. I recommend the use of flax seeds rather than flax oil. Flax oil begins to go rancid immediately after it is extracted from the seed. The rancidity progresses the longer the oil sits in the fridge. The toxins in rancid flax oil are the last thing that you want to introduce in a cancer patient. Flax oil is fresh only while it is in the seed. To use flax seed, grind in a coffee grinder (that is free from coffee grounds) just before use, or grind a small supply and keep in a covered glass jar in the freezer. Once the seed is ground, only freezer storage will keep the oils from going rancid. Use twice the amount of freshly ground seed as you would use of the oil.
