Thank you so very much for your response – I appreciate it more than I can say :-)It is easy to make general recommends and that someone may need to give up certain foods, etc. However, in reality and in my practice, I believe in "everything in moderation including moderation itself." If you find that one cup of a caffeinated beverage is not bothering you then that would be fine. If one cup causes problems for you then I would consider whether it is necessary or not.
Could I possibly trouble you with just one more question?... I was wandering what the exact limitation on caffeine should be – should I cut it out completely – not even one cup of coffee or black tea a day? Are black tea and green tea that contain caffeine ok?
And I'm definitely going to get off of the birth control – I'm on my 4th month/pack and I'm going to finish that pack off, but research in the meantime about the calendar method. Over the past year or so, I've noticed that I've been drinking quite a bit of wine (a glass or so a night) – should I cut out wine as well? Could that be what was slowing my liver function?Alcohol has long been known to affect liver function. I suggest you try reducing the amount of alcohol you consume for a while and see what the effects are for you. You might then to consider eliminating it.
Again, thank you so much for you advice – it truly resonates with me and I'm just so thankful that I found your site and can make that healthy change!!!Thank you and good luck.
