Pruning Sages in Spring

I am very pleased to say my various kind of sages are doing well after the winter. We live between Barrie and Midland.
Question: Should I cut the sages back now?

I assume the sages are perennials in the garden and are not yet showing signs of new growth this spring (as of April).
Yes, you can prune them. Remove all dead branches and dead wood taking care not to remove too many branches that still show live tissue when you break a piece off. Typically live tissue will be white or green inside the branch. You don't want to remove too many of these branches otherwise you will stunt this year's growth.
