I bought some echinacea plants and they are all flowering niceley except one. It just has grown huge leaves, but no flowers. Is this normal? Do you think it will flower next year?I do think it will bloom next year. The plant may have ended up in a more fertile spot and is using the food to make a huge plant. If you do fertilize your plants, give them a fertilizer that is high in the middle(Phosphate) and maybe last number , but low in the first number (nitrogen). Too high a proportion of nitrogen stimulates leaf growth to the detriment of flower production.
